While serving as Managing Director of The Heist, the film and animation arm of Thinking Box, I was asked how to bring some notoriety to the creative chops of the animation team. While the talent was plentiful, the opportunities were limited, so in truth it was an easy fix.
Throw away the brief, and celebrate the creative process. It Was There All Along is an original animated short, and an ode to the elusive Big Idea creatives are always tasked with chasing, while living with (and working around) the realities of daily agency life.
The flim garnered wide attention within the motion design and animation communities, and established The Heist as a destination partner for animation work of all sorts.
